Altie: Georgia's Own Loch Ness Monster
Long ago, when I was building exhibits at the Rock Eagle Museum, I had a little extra space where I wanted to put a fun display about cryptozoology. So I did an internet search for cryptids in Georgia, and the first one on the list was the Altamaha-ha. I built a "juvenile" version of the creature based on eyewitness accounts. Later, I got to build an "adult" version for a Visitor's Center in Darien, GA, where the Altamaha-ha has been spotted many times.
