Lucy: Australopithecus  afarensis

I truly enjoy sculpting restorations of prehistoric creatures, but rarely get to build on top of skull casts.  One of the FSC instructors had obtained a skull cast of  "Lucy", a famous specimen of the extinct hominid Australopithecus afarensis.  So, I made a rough copy of the skull cast and on that, built  up the facial features in modeling clay.
